Jason Balasch - President

Jason Balasch serves as President of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for the overall leadership and strategy of PMC’s commercial operations as well as PMC’s day-to-day business activities. Jason has been with PMC since 2011 serving in various capacities, most recently as Executive Vice President, NGL Commercial and Facilities. Jason brings over 26 years of midstream and energy experience to the business, previously holding various executive, engineering and business development roles with Enterprise Products Partners L.P., Chevron as well as TransCanada Corporation. Jason currently serves on the Board of the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association.

Sandi Wingert - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Sandi Wingert serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for accounting, taxation, human resources, risk and planning and information services. Sandi has been with PMC since 2001, serving in various capacities, most recently as Vice President, Corporate Services. Prior to PMC, Sandi was with CANPET Energy Group Inc. from 2000 to 2001. Before joining CANPET, Sandi held various accounting roles with Koch Petroleum and Ernst & Young.

Brad Deets - Senior Vice President, Assets

Brad Deets serves as Senior Vice President, Assets of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for overseeing the commercial performance of PMC’s assets and activities including commercial pipelines, facilities, transportation and optimization activities. Brad built his knowledge of the midstream business through a number of roles throughout his 17 years at PMC, including butane marketing, risk management, acquisitions, and most recently as Vice President, LPG Commercial. Prior to PMC, Brad worked with CANPET Energy Group Inc. for a number of years, focusing on crude oil marketing.

Tyler Rimbey - Senior Vice President, Commercial  

Tyler Rimbey serves as Senior Vice President, Commercial of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for overseeing the commercial areas of the business including crude oil and NGL trading, supply, marketing and sales and business development. Tyler brings over 28 years of energy industry experience, including commodity trading, marketing and business development. Prior to PMC, Tyler worked in executive and senior leadership roles with Platino Energy, C&C Energia, BP, J Aron and Shell in Canada, the US, Latin America and United Kingdom.

Scott Sill - Senior Vice President, Operations

Scott Sill serves as Senior Vice President, Operations of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for Crude Oil, NGL, and LPG operations in Canada and the United States. Scott joined PMC in April 2006 through PMC's acquisition of the Shafter gas liquids processing facility. Prior to his most recent role as Vice President, Operations, Scott has held increasingly senior operational roles with PMC. His roles have included Vice President of LPG Operations, Managing Director of U.S and Canadian LPG Operations and West Coast District Superintendent. Scott brings over 26 years of operations experience to his role for PMC's business development activities for our Crude Oil and LPG pipelines and assets.

Tyler Knowler- Vice President, Risk and Planning

Tyler Knowler serves as Vice President, Risk and Planning of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the budgeting, enterprise risk management and office services teams. Tyler joined PMC in 2003 and has held a variety of senior-level positions in the accounting, acquisitions, risk, planning and commercial areas. Prior to joining PMC, Tyler spent five years at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.   

Sterling Koch - Vice President, Health, Safety, Environment and Regulatory

Sterling Koch serves as Vice President, Health, Safety, Environment and Regulatory of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for providing strategic leadership to health, safety, environment, legal, regulatory, emergency management, security, stakeholder relations, damage prevention and land activities. Sterling brings over 21 years of energy industry experience, including legal and regulatory affairs, commercial operations, compliance, and security. Prior to PMC, Sterling worked with TransAlta for 15 years serving in various executive roles, including legal and regulatory affairs, commercial management, and business development. Sterling also brings a strong legal general counsel background, originating from his days with Western Gas Marketing, Northridge Petroleum, and TransCanada.

Don Lacey - Vice President, Operations

Don Lacey serves as Vice President, Operations of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for PMC’s Crude Oil, NGL and LPG operations in Canada and the United States. Don joined PMC in 2014, serving most recently as Director, Operations, overseeing various facilities and assets. Prior to PMC, Don spent eight years with Spectra Energy, working as Director of Operations. Don brings over 11 years of energy industry experience to this role and 31 years of senior leadership experience across several different industries, including Pulp and Paper, Manufacturing, Electrical Generation and Natural Gas Processing.  

Neil Lyons- Vice President, Trading

Neil Lyons serves as Vice President, Trading of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for overseeing PMC’s trading strategy and aligning all trading and hedging activities across the Crude Oil and NGL business. Neil has been with PMC for over 10 years, serving most recently as Senior Director, Trading and Commercial Risk Management, and before that Director, Crude and Diluent Trading.  

Mark Mazerolle- Vice President, Pipelines and Facilities

Mark Mazerolle serves as Vice President, Pipelines and Facilities of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for PMC’s pipeline logistics, distribution and pipeline and facility optimization activities. Mark has over 20 years of senior management experience in the oil and gas industry serving in various operations, commercial and business development roles. He has been with PMC since 2012, serving most recently as Vice President, Pipelines and Supply.  

Brent Nadeau- Vice President, Human Resources

Brent Nadeau serves as Vice President, Human Resources of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for the development and delivery of our Human Resource (HR) strategies in support of our business objectives. With over 25 years of related experience, Brent has held a number of senior HR leadership roles in the energy sector with Weatherford, Husky Energy, and BP Canada Energy. Most recently, Brent served as Director, Western Hemisphere HR Productivity and Performance at Weatherford.  

Michelle Podavin - Vice President, Business Development, Acquisitions and Strategic Planning

Michelle Podavin serves as Vice President, Business Development, Acquisitions and Strategic Planning of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for providing leadership on growth, expansion and strategic direction opportunities for PMC. Michelle has been with PMC for 16 years, serving most recently as Vice President, Supply. Prior to joining PMC, Michelle spent six years at major accounting firms in various roles.  

Dan Reinbold - Vice President, Information Services

Dan Reinbold serves as Vice President, Information Services (IS) of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible the development and implementation of enterprise-wide information and operational technology strategies, ensuring that technology and application platforms align with corporate and operational plans. Dan has over 20 years of senior management experience in the information technology field serving in both public and private sector IT roles. He has been with PMC since 2010, and has led the IS department through transformational changes that have streamlined and strengthened PMC’s business operations.  

Melissa Smith- Vice President, Supply and Marketing

Melissa Smith serves as Vice President, Supply and Marketing of Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) and is responsible for integrating our supply, marketing and sales activities across our businesses and North American customer base. Melissa has over 25 years of experience in oil and gas with Plains All American (PAA), ConocoPhillips and Shell. In addition to her degree in Chemical Engineering, she also has experience in Crude and NGL trading, marketing, crude quality management, rail business development, refinery operations, planning and health, safety and environment.
