Liquefied Petroleum Gas Operations

Our LPG infrastructure includes several terminals, fractionation and storage assets strategically located across the U.S. and in the province of Alberta. Combined, our LPG assets have the total capacity to store approximately 8.8 million barrels of product.

We own and operate two natural gas liquid fractionation ("NGL") facilities located near Bakersfield, California and High Prairie, Alberta. Combined, these two facilities have a NGL fractionation capacity of approximately 28,000 barrels per day.

Our existing infrastructure is designed to support our LPG marketing activities. These activities include:

  • purchasing LPG products (including: propane, butane, natural gasoline, ethanol, naphtha, pentane, and aromatics) in bulk at major pipeline terminal points and storage locations;
  • transporting the LPG via common carrier pipelines, railcars and trucks to our own terminals and third party facilities for subsequent resale to wholesale customers; and
  • exchanging product to other locations to meet contract delivery requirements.
