Plains is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. Due to an increased workload and future expansion plans, an additional Meter Prover position has been approved and will be based out of our Edmonton field office. The successful candidate will be flexible and willing to travel as required.
Responsibilities:
- Daily operation of meter proving equipment with an assigned territory;
- Analyze test results to determine the cause of registration errors;
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies/procedures as they pertain to this position.
Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to applicants with related pipeline and meter proving experience;
- Minimum Grade XII education required;
- Post secondary technical training including electrical or instrumentation is required;
- Possess an electrical/mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot measurement related problems;
- A valid Driver’s License is a condition of employment with the expectation of upgrading to a Class 3 license with air brake certification;
- Intermediate level MS Word/Excel is required;
- Must be self-motivated and energetic with effective written/verbal communication skills.
